Created during the Luminous Bodies residency at Artscape Gibraltar Point, Shadowland explores the body as a fleeting and shifting presence. Using fluid watercolour gestures and fragmented forms, the work investigates how movement, weight, and emotion can be conveyed through suggestion rather than description. The figures emerge and dissolve within the painted surface, occupying a space between physical form and felt experience.
